  3. blame the terrorists !...

    AND

    ... the politicians !

For both are sending evil and death.

Either way humanity, freedom and justice goes down the drain!

And neither one of them will find an excuse in the face of history.

  4. ...and that´s all they keep saying on german tv for some days now.. it´s even not the top priority topic anymore..

a land is going down and they talk about the oh-so-hard heat wave over here where one man died while working... that´s really f***ed up. My thoughts are with you and the lebanese people, I´ll be back for sure!

  7. small note to the clown who continues trying to convince me that i should thank him and his goverment to bomb my country in order to bring me freedom from hizbollah:

did you notice that i erased your comment faster than an f-16 erase a village?
i am beginning to get trained.

to people new on this blog:
please try to not post ANY comment trying to explain to me the situation. i do not care - really - to know who's fault it is (for me it's adam and eve's anyway).

note for the bloggers who wish to know what was the comment that have been erased:
please see CNN's blog, they didn't erase it there.

  9. Don't worry about those stupid people, which can't understand the reasons why u are writing blog. It's their problem - not yours. Your thoughts and feelings are the most important thing now, becouse we can even if only a little - but see better, what your situation is like. We are angry, but we are weak, when we are not togheter. I'll talk to my friends in Poland about you. Remember - u are not alone!

  11. it's strange.. i see iven and i think of your son evan often now, even if we've never met. even if they've not yet met.. but we've spoken about getting them together. the dangerous combination of two clever kids with weird parents. it's iven 6th birthday tomorrow, and you both are still much on my mind. i am planning a party for him. i half wish that i could have evan there. to give him something of the joy and freedom the kids will be having tomorrow in a park next to the harbour in baltimore.. very random i know but just to let you know you both are still much in thoughts and i am checking in with your blog as often as i can...

    all my best,
    a

How many hands means how many drawings?

  13. Hello Mazen!

I'm just sitting here and listening to an excerpt of your song "starry night", and I have to say, that this is one of the most disturbing things I've ever heard.

Through all the veils, media usually puts over our perception, this song is like a splash of cold water.

It's not that I wasn't interested in what's happening all around the world (I try my best to be well informed) but reading or watching news is like sitting in a Theater (a real perverted one...)or just - watching TV. Listening to this song is like sitting beside you.

I for myself am also making music, and my music is about a terrible machine, that feeds upon souls, and we are the wheels in this machine, turning round and round.

Until today I wondered, what's the most precise way to describe the sound of this horrible machine.

    Now I know...

    best wishes from Trier/Germany.

    Daniel

  14. Amazing work. I'm stunned at the honesty of it, and the honesty of the music on your site.

p.s. ignore these idiots that think you're being opportunistic. it's opportunistic of them to say so. your work is good and you're doing something worthy in your situation. keep it up.

  15. Dear Mazen,
Please keep drawing. We are posting your drawings now daily on the message boards of this yet-unpolitical village in East Sussex, England. Our little daughter painted one for you today in purple and pink ( her favourites...)
As we grew up in Israel/Palestine we can identify with resistance quite naturaly and gladly add our voice to the oppostion of such an arogant and vendictive intruder. We will keep you posted with the locals' reactions.
We hope that peace will reign once more in Beirut.
