Parece tonto, pero ¿hay algo mas que podamos hacer?. Gracias a todos. KERBAJThere is 15000 persons seeing this blog! it's incredible no?. no.IT IS NOT ENOUGH!Guys if each one of these 15000 can drag 10 more people asking them to drag 10 more, we'll be a fucking million and a half. and if this million can drag some more...i am not totally naive and more likely a little bit sceptical, but it seems for me that a webtifada is possible. ghandi's concept but on the net. one fucking billion of people saying NO. it looks cheesy i know, but is there something else to do?. anyways, i thank you all. Mazen, I have been saving some of your images onto my laptop to show to my friends and coworkers. I have also started saving them because I noticed that under a google search of your name, your blog no longer shows up. When I first noticed this I became gravely concerned that you had been shut down and was rocketed into panic, however now that I know you're still here, still posting, still resisting, I feel alot better. I am still saving your drawings out of the fear that they will become inaccessible to me, I hope this is all right.
thank for for resisting, keep drawing, keep playing, to be the victor you need only to remain. . . i pray for you, i think of you and the bombs exploding when i play my own music.
Dear Mazen. So good to hear you guys recorded today/yesterday. Wanted to write you re: your "A" drawing, "what will happen to the experiemtal music scene in beirut?" but it ended up being:FUCK THEM FUCK THEM FUCK US THEY CANNOT KILL THE MUSIC SCENE THERE BC IT IS EVERYWHERE IT IS ALL OF USand more that became so political I decided to respect that you asked for no political posts....well, fuck them israel and fuck us. Us being particularly my country, and I mean my government and a whole shitload of the people here too. (I am listening to BAO right now. Hadn't put it on in awhile. It is end of track four and VERY great)Well, this is long, but on to the webtifada.....For this to work we need a pyramid scheme for sure. This is the only way. Well, either that or a chain letter saying that either:pass this on to 10 people, go to Mazen's site and you will have good luck for ever and ever and ever.Or if you don't send it out god will strike you down.Or that everyone has to go to your site and send in one beautiful crisp dollar to you and they will get 1 gazillion back from Ariel Sharon. His diapers are full of them. This will for sure work in my country in any case. Once they get to your site though, you must do the work of twisting their meagre little brains towards your wonderful light. I can't work miracles.I'm very ashamed to be american right now - well, most of the time actually. But not so ashamed that I'm not also pissed as fucking hell.Sorry just doesn't seem to cut it.So, I'm off to tell everyone I know about you (again) and to steer the yankee masses to your blog. be prepared.go webtifada. (we need to make up a good cheer)much love. good luck.
dear mazen, hope you had a great time recording with all the guys ("great" under the given circumstances, that is...) , i am looking forward to hear that recording some day not too far away. as you should know already, there was a big article by thomas burkhalter in the most important german weekly newspaper "die zeit", with two of your drawings printed quite big and prominent... wow, man ! that means, that in these days around 2 million people in germany will see your drawings there and read this article, including the link to your blog. so this should hopefully increase the number of people visiting the kerblog once more.warmest wishes from cologne to all of you guys (and girls)udo moll
VERRANNO GIORNI MIGLIORI!Better times will come! Hei son, I'm listening and looking, the further bombing just close You...(?)in BEIRUT, with new dead ! People says until now-(Italy time 2.p.m.), all around 800 civilians(not included lebanes soldiers, but even them were human being , probably helping even You to remain alive.)approximately 380 of them dead are kids, less then 12 years hold, many just borned with many pregnant mothers. The STATE OF LEBANON almost enterily destroyd it means at list, for the next 15/20 years; about one million-1.000.000. of people, naturally with children, some just born and with pregnant mothers, olds and sicks EVACUATED…under bombing!!Then the Palestinians? Or those aren’t human beings? And how many of them are been killed, how many babys? And… Viet-Nam-Cambogia-Corea-Sudan-Irak-Iran-Afganistan-Congo-Yugoslavia, etc.etc.;what about, if(!) tomorrow they assalt Siria and Iran too. What about the two atomic bomb on theJaponais babies heads? I se… all of these terrorist, racist!! Them= angels for the true new democracy in the world. Don’t let become somebody racist and aggressif , probably is only because no more family, no more brothers or sisters, no more houses, no more Country,-NO MORE FREEDOM!!!The balls… is something for men. God bless Lebanon and Palestina and why not Israel too, but builted up, by human israelys.(This is a dream, meanwhile the bomb (over the Ginevra treaty) are true.
Bonjour Mazen, bonjour Sharif, bonjour au quartet. Continuez de jouer. Continuez. Continuez. La musique n'a pas souvent arrêté la bêtise et la violence mais continuez pour ce que cela fait naître. Amitiés. Ninh

Its great to know that you keep on playing music...!!Mazen, could you paint something - with english words- so that if those drawings are copied and posted on the side of the roads bypassers here in germany can understand that's about the present situation in Beirut??? And might realize something...Hug

Hey, it is true... Mazen's records have been erased from the google database... what a shitty people! Just one reference appears, a very recent one of hafif.org. So, they erase you from a certain date backwards? If that is so, I very much ask you all to put a full reference (links included) to Mazen's pages (here and at Flickr), inviting people to pay him a visit. If they erase, we write again. We can do that once a week, just to be sure in case they plan to do this periodically.
I am Italian. I read Primo Levi "SE QUESTO E' UN UOMO" (IF THIS IS A MAN - not sure the title has been translated this way...)anyway, it was about his terrible experience of the Holocaust in a Nazi camp. Now, once more, this question comes up to me. IS THIS A MAN?The parts have somehow changed and those who were once victims, are now the ones who are doing this massacres. So, it's not, it doesnt want to be, a political satement. I just see the human being as very afraid and fragile. No matter today where the responsibilities and guilts are. What really matters to me today, is that insted of looking for justice the way Gandhi did, the world, the entire world is just dropping bombs. And then we see children dying. And we cry. but the point I do want to make clear is thet WE ARE ALL PART of this shame. because Italy, as UK, Germany, Russia, US, anybody, has its own intersts. And we are all part of this world, of these countries. We are all part of the sick game.I really feel we, the we that are against all this - should STAND UP FOR THE RIGHT OF BEING FREE AND LEAVING IN PEACE.IS THAT SO DIFFUCULT?Next monday i hope I'll be in Rome to join Amnesty international meeting for a cease-fire.ciao - take care!, beatrice
Hi Mazen, I have been checking out your blog often since I first heard about it a few days ago, and have recommended it to friends. I have lived in the Middle East and have many emotional ties to Lebanon so this new war makes me very very very upset and angry; like many people around the world, I feel awfully helpless. I wish there were more I could do or say, my words sound very inadequate. Thanks for your amazing drawings and please keep on posting - we're watching.Take care.
mazen, essaie d'uploader un extrait quelque part.
please post mazenkerblog url on forums, non-english wikipedia pages about lebanon and israel, wiki stuff, blog comments, online newspaper comments, etc.
Hello kerbaj. With regard to: It will come better times!(the meaning art piece is on my link:non tutti hanno le palle! Lui cele ha.).Y'l see, what politic makes us, me too did never like politic, but... as you see,God wills it!You and, all of us, are involved in this havoc perpetreted by somebody. What I suffer more is the point of, non one of the Palestinians down there has the opportunityYou have(thank God). But trust me, we are becoming so many, that our voice is going to do more trouble, than the bombs still falling down in our Lebanon.
Penultimo, Hi, if you are interested you may want to visit this other place toowww.a-mother-from-gaza.blogspot.comThere you will find the day-to-day of palestinians in the Gaza strip and drop a comment to cheer them up a little.
Hi, Mazen. This is not about war. I just want to tell you that I think you are drawing better each day.Regards from Argenina
where will we hear the latest music?
