ReplyDeleteOutro Mundo É Possível!
Keep spreading the Word Mazen!
Hi, Mazen
ReplyDeleteI've thought about you every day since the war started, and I feel bad that it's taken me more than a month to tell you that.
I had no idea Sharif was also in Lebanon and sticking it out. Amazing.
Your artwork is strong and moving and voluminous. Thanks, too, for the translations!
I look forward to more days of hanging out and enjoying your music making with Andrew.
Max, Andrew, and I send our love and energy and positive good vibes.
Love, Alissa
I'm loving the way you're handling color.
ReplyDeleteExcellent ce dessin.
ReplyDeleteHi Mazen
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know that there is a full page article about Beirut and you in the September issue of The Wire, with drawings. I can send a jpeg if you want. I guess Wire distribution to Beirut might be a little slow at the moment...

Faites moi plaisir : RESTEZ VIVANTS !!!

ReplyDeleteSUPERHEROES NEVER DIE!!..
Donno how i parachuted in your blog -although not a pro in "ENZAL"(new war terminology i got to learn).
Jst wanted u 2know that have posted some of ur stuff on our blog if u may... LVD IT N WANTED 2 SHARE IT with fellow bloggers..linked captain laure 2...gr8 stuff!!
Thx a million for that smile in the mind :) it is drawings as such, with unconscience social conscience that help relieve the pain of a ravaging war...
DU TONNERRE TA CREATIVITE...light, fun n witty, with messages packed with punch & veiled in subtlety.
ON M !!
Keep it up Maze-n Roll..
G. from The Zone
Happy birthday mazen :)
ReplyDeletehow about those who understand freedom of an opinion and get banned ... again? i would like to be your personal hero, too. at least somebody's ... an irony scraped off from in between the lines of the writen history rules .. don't despair, people.
ReplyDeleteI read about your blog in an Australian newspaper over the summer. I don't know quite what it is that so grabs me about your site. Perhaps its the simplicity and the human-ness of the cartoons. Now I'm fearful because you have not clocked in since Tuesday. Hope to see you back on line in sooner rather than later.....and, thanks
ReplyDeletean irony scraped off thoughts from in-between lines of the written history ..
ReplyDeletean irony scraped off thoughts from in-between the lines of non-written history, was the sentence i have rationalized afterwards ..
all these is the reality
